Service Fees

Affordability is one of our values at West of the Fifth Law, and we want to help you as much as we can without breaking your bank. Therefore we openly communicate with you about our fees and work with you to make sure you get the most for your dollar.

Flat Fee Services

Consultations:

$150 + GST for all Consultations

*This amount will be payable before the consultation but will be applied against the first bill of any further work on the matter.

Notary Public: $50 per documents

Commissioner for Oaths: $ 20 per documents

Variable Services - Other areas of law are less predictable, and will require an assessment of the facts and ongoing monitoring.

Independent Legal Advice:

$350/hr + GST - Hourly Rate for all Independent Legal Advice
Minimum one hour for all documents, except
Separation Agreements/Minutes of Settlement minimum three hours
Guarantee minimum two hours

Estate Planning:

Wills - $400 ($600 for a mirrored set)

Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) - $250 ($400 for a mirrored set)

Personal Directive (PD) - $200 ($300 for a mirrored set)

Set (Will, EPA & PD) - $750 ($ 1,000 for a mirrored set)

Codicils - $250 ($400 for a mirrored set)

50% of the fee is due when we take instructions and the other 50% after the execution.

Estate Administration:

Core Legal Services
$2,250+GST, + ½% the value of the estate for estates valued up to $150,000
$2,250+GST, + 1% the value of the estate for estates valued over $150,000

Non-Core Legal Services
Billed at the hourly rate of $250+GST

Real Estate:

Fees for Real Estate vary considerably depending on the legal service
